Wilderer's Distillery
Master distiller Helmut Wilderer has been crafting his award-winning 'eau de
vie' since 1994. That year he moved down from Germany to South Africa, and
finally settled just outside Paarl in the Western Cape. Here he continues this
century-old trade to the delight of customers world-wide. The product palette
has since then been extended to include delightful Grappa chocolates, Herbal
Bitters, as well as corporate gift packs. The Distillery is also home to a
restaurant and tasting room, which in summer season regularly hosts events
that attract people from near and far.
